Poster “Gran Premio de México”

This project quickly became one of our favorites, as it gave us the chance to return to traditional drawing techniques. We created this poster for Televisa 1 as a complement to the F1 Mexican Grand Prix project — a piece that brings together pre-Hispanic mythology, 19th-century Mexican engraving, and the speed and energy of F1 cars. To bring it to life, we combined hand-drawn illustration, 3D modeling, and linocut engraving. The result was nominated in the “Illustration Poster” category at the 2017 PromaxBDA Awards. 🏁 🏎️
